Peace Through Strength
Every painting in Chronicle of an Unquiet Age documents the defining events, people, and issues that shaped its moment in history. Created in real time as events unfolded, each work serves as both an original oil painting and a historical record, reflecting the belief that the news of today is the history of tomorrow.

TRTA-2025-114 | June 2025 | Oil on Canvas | 34" x 26"
June 2025 brought a harder strategic tone as calls for deterrence grew louder in response to continuing conflicts. Peace Through Strength captures that longstanding doctrine in a contemporary setting.
On June 14, 2026 the United States joined Isreal for "Operation Midnight Hammer." Trump and Netanyahu have a "No tolerance policy" for Iran and vow "Iran can never have a nuclear weapon." Trump's Art of the Deal is on full display as no nukes no troops on the ground as Trump gave Iran 60 days to make a deal and "Time's Up." Trump calls for an "Unconditional Surrender "of the IRGC Regime as 7 B-2 Stealth Bombers drop 14 30,000 Bunker Buster bombs on 3 nuclear sites inside Iran. Trump attends the G7 in Canada and leaves early to deal with Iran situation. Concerns of Iranian sleeper cells in America could be activated. Will exciled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi become a new leader in Iran? The "12 Day War" ends with a ceasefire agreement between Isreal and Iran and now Trump asks Netanyahu to "Make Peace in Gaza."
Peace Through Strength reflects an idea with deep political history. Whether embraced as realism or criticized as escalation, the painting preserves a moment when strength itself was argued to be the price of peace.
