January 2026 continued under Shockwaves of Change 2026 , as the opening weeks of the year were increasingly described in sweeping historical terms. Political reversals, renewed assertions of executive power, foreign confrontations, border enforcement, and market reaction combined to create the feeling that the country had entered a consequential new phase.
