June 2024 opened beneath a heavier national mood. Wars abroad, courtroom drama at home, economic fatigue, and deepening political hostility combined to create a sense that optimism was in short supply.
Dark Days reflects a period when many Americans viewed the present through uncertainty rather than confidence. Trump is now a convicted felon and these are definitely Dark Days. Trump was convicted on
all 34 counts and sentencing is scheduled for July 11th. Trump raises $400 million after the conviction.
As the upside down flag depicts we are definitely in a dangerous situation for our Republic. In this case
the flag reflects the sentiment that the Trump verdict and government weaponization are the causes.
June 6th is D-Day Rememberance Day and it is the 80th Anniversary. Biden is in Normandy France and mumbles and stumbles before being escoted off the stage by Dr. Jill in an embarrasing moment on the World stage for America. The WSJ article raises concerns over Biden's cognitive abilities and it really showed up in France. Hunter is on trial for gun charges FBI says his laptop is real and has not been tampered with. Big Guy Daddy Joe says he will NOT pardon Hunter if he is convicted. We shall see about that. And the vedict for Hunter is in... GUILTY on all 3 counts. Will he see Jail time will he get a pardon? Judge orders Steve Bannon to jail on July 1, 2024. Dark Days is intentionally stark. Rather than declaring permanence, it captures a passing but powerful atmosphere when public life felt shadowed by instability, and clearer horizons remained difficult to see.
