Order and disorder have always competed for control, but by May 2026 that struggle seemed to be unfolding simultaneously across politics, global conflicts, financial markets, technology, public health, and the media. Every day introduced new challenges as governments attempted to respond to rapidly changing events while citizens struggled to separate fact from speculation in an increasingly interconnected world.
International attention remained focused on the Middle East as tensions involving Iran, Israel, and the United States continued to evolve. On May 2nd Cruiseship MV Hondius reports passengers suffering from respitory illness called the "Hanta Virus." Panic ensues as liberals want to wear masks and actualy the Hanta virus is carried by rodents and transmitted through contact with urine feces and saliva. People are not having it and state "we are not doing this again." First it was a Bat, now a rat on a cruiseship... we've seen this script before. Not buying a bit of it. Full Stop. May 3rd Golden Temp wins the Kentucky Derby with Cherie De Vaux becoming the first female trainer to win the first jewel in the Triple Crown. A ceasefireis in place between Russia and Ukraine for Victory Day May 9-11th. Trump rejects Iran's recent peace proposal and states the ceasefire is on life support and by the way so could the Not So Supreme Leader and Cardboard Ayatollah. Trump warns Obama about his shadow diplomacy a Obama meets with PM Carney in Canada on how to "build a better and just future." Another death at Obama's house as his 31 year old Housekeeper is found dead... and crickets...not a word or investigation. First the Chef now the Housekeeper? RFK Jr. announces the full withdrawl from the World Health Organization and not a moment too soon. Trump releases the first batch of UFO and Alien Life files. And still no news about missing Nancy Guthrie. It is day 100 and no word, no suspects, nothing. Chaos Contagion Control reflects a period when uncertainty spread almost as quickly as information itself and explores how fear, instability, and competing narratives can influence nations just as rapidly as military conflict or economic change. It preserves a chapter when maintaining order required resilience, clear leadership, and the determination to confront chaos before it gained control.
