The tenth work in The Next Chapter series captures the growing public backlash against mandates, restrictions, and expanding government authority during the spring of 2021. Titled Give Me Liberty, the painting reflects renewed national debates over personal freedom, constitutional rights, and the limits of state power. "Libertad" rang out throughout Cuba as people take to the streets to protest against the Communist Regime. Senator Rand Paul drafts a criminal referral to DOJ against Fauci for lying to Congress regarding funding of "Gain of Function Research" Wuhan Lab. Biden's America pits the vaxed against the unvaxed, masked against non masked, illegals against citizens fueling anger and division. Ashli Babbitt is also featured as there are still questions regarding her death on January 6th. Press Secretary Jen Psake announces the White House is working with Social Media to stop "disinformation." Captured In this painting is a country divided over lockdown policies, vaccine requirements, speech rights, and individual choice. The title echoes the long American tradition of resistance to perceived overreach. In real time, the work preserves the atmosphere of frustration, activism, and defiance that marks this period. The snap shot records a moment when questions of liberty and security again stood at the center of American political life.
